Nogurt’s mission is to provide a truly delicious sunflower-based alternative to environmentally intensive, animal-insensitive dairy yogurts. We aim to raise the bar by consciously sourcing our four organic whole food ingredients and handcrafting Nogurt using traditional fermentation practices.

About

Nogurt is an artisanal plant-based yogurt made of organic sunflower seeds, maple syrup, cassava flour, and a blend of five live and funky cultures. GROOVY!

We make a conscious effort to maintain the nutritional integrity of our Midwest grown sunflower seeds by using them just as Mother Earth intended. We never strip and strain our seeds to create mylks, like other nut and seed based yogurts typically do. Instead, we pride ourselves on keeping all of our organic ingredients in their whole food form for a nutrient-packed probiotic punch. KAPOW!

After introducing our gut-friendly gang of bacteria, we then ferment overnight under the the glow of the waxing gibbous moon. Nogurt emerges in the morning transformed, tart and tangy– plus, our naturally preservative probiotic bouquet keeps Nogurt funky fresh, so we never need to use unpronounceable stabilizers and additives. BAM!
